This is quite the remix collection. There are a bunch of heavy hitters here: Trivecta, Crystal Skies, Last Heroes, Nurko, WE ARE FURY, MitiS, Mazare, the list never seems to end. By far my favorite track is from Nurko, what an incredible reimaging. If you liked Wild Youth, then yes, you need this collection.

Simply calling Ashes an EDM album is a huge understatement. Illenium's songs are bursting with emotion, spirit, wonder and hope. The vocalists he works with are breathtaking. My favorite track is the Echos collaboration, Afterlife, it almost brought me to tears. The entire album is like a Vitamin C bomb for your senses. This is fine art. A triumph.
